The temperature is changing and with these changes the chances of getting into a car accident also INCREASE! It’s very important that you take action now and follow the following steps to ensure you drive safely and peacefully during this season of the year:
Lights: Make sure you clean thoroughly your lights during the Winter. You can take it to the mechanic so your lights are properly polished or you can always use the old trick of the tooth paste.
Battery: Usually when you take your car for service and change your oil, they’ll be able to check on your battery. If your battery gave you any sort of issues during the Summer, it’s very likely that it will fail you in the Winter.
Antifreeze: Check on the levels of antifreeze constantly and you haven’t changed it the last years, we recommend you to do a complete change of your antifreeze.
Gasoline: If you can, maintain your gas tank full or at a sufficient amount in case you get stuck in a traffic jam or have any accidents. This way you’ll stay warm in case you need to wait in your car for help. Additionally, you’ll avoid keep your water pipes from accumulating extra water.
And of course, you must have a survival kit in your car and keep a sweater, lights to make your car visible, and an extra battery to charge your phone.
